Houston Children's Museum

Today we took the kids to the Houston Children's Museum. It was a very fun, exhausting, adventurous, exploratory, tiring and full of learning day.

The kids loved playing with all the hands on learning activities.

Some of our favorites:
  • the little grocery store
  • the ambulance, police car, fire fighter outfits to dress up in
  • the Water Works outside play area where you could race a boat around this river
  • little baby chicks and turtles in the Eco Station
  • the Science Station and Discovery Room
  • The pully
  • The arch/key stone blocks
They loved power play and the rock wall!

Another great day with their cousins, and our new friends the Allens.

I guess Jackson thought Brent would like to wear it as a hat. I take it by his face he did not.

After one activity Jackson has had it and is laying on the floor. Oh no, this is going to be an interesting day.

Face painting.

Taylor loved being able to paint her own face!

Kate looking at the turtles at the Eco Hut.

Racing boats.

Flow Works.

Taylor being cute with Spencer.

Whitney. Has been our awesome helper... Angie has had her come along and help with her little ones.  She's joined us for all of our fun outings!  Thanks Whit!

The Vet.

Angie hopes this is the only time she sees Katie in the  back of a police car.

This would be a cute idea to store all your kids toy cars in a toy room.

This was so fun. Jackson stood there so patiently holding the key stone until they were ready for it.

Our new friends the Allens went with us, this is Taylor and Olivia with Jackson

Of course she wanted to "hoed it mommy" because it was pink.

best picture of the day.

Ang. I don't know how you do it... not only stay sane with all your little ones, but you THRIVE!  I would just stay home and try to control the craziness, but you just run from one fun thing to the next!

the kids are DONE!
Angie and the kids left a few hours before we did... Peyton napped in the carrier, and Brent, Taylor, Olivia and Jake kept exploring.
And since Angie, my photographer left, I didn't take any more pictures:)
