After 6 plus years in California and 9 years with Marriott a great opportunity presented itself for us to move back home to Texas. Eric is now working for the Ensign Group. He's been on the job now for almost two weeks and can't get enough.
We'll be in Houston living with my mom for 4-6 months while he's in training at a local facility. Once he completes the training he'll sit for the state and national board and then be given his own facility to run somewhere in Texas.
We are excited to be back home close to family. It's really helped the kids transition to a new city with two sets of grandparents around not to mention aunts and uncles close by.
